Trading volume in Türkiye's spot natural gas market rose. According to data from the Energy Markets Operations Company (EPİAŞ), the monetary value of natural gas trades on November 4 reached 5,955,315 lira.
The trading volume was 5,223,675 lira the previous day. The daily increase was 731,640 lira, and trading volume rose by about 14 percent.
Reference Price and Trading Quantity
The reference price for 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas in the spot market was recorded at 20,465 lira. On the same day, the quantity of natural gas traded in the market was 291,000 cubic meters.
Balancing Gas Prices
Balancing gas prices for market participants were also announced.
- Balancing gas purchase price: 21,488.25 lira
- Balancing gas sale price: 19,441.75 lira
The purchase price was 1,023.25 lira above the reference price. The sale price was 1,023.25 lira below it.
Daily Natural Gas Supply
Data on Türkiye's daily natural gas supply was also released. On November 4, 154,862,026 cubic meters of natural gas entered Türkiye. On the same day, 154,917,160 cubic meters of natural gas were supplied to the market.
The amount supplied to the market exceeded the daily gas inflow into the country by 55,134 cubic meters.
